Rob Beiswenger

Representative | District 8A

As the State Representative for District 8, serving Valley County, Rob Beiswenger is deeply committed to fighting for lower taxes and expanding health freedoms for his constituents. He brings a professional’s tool chest to the legislature, ready to take Idaho to the next level.

After watching Idaho’s values being attacked, he was asked by neighbors, friends, and family to run for office. After prayerful consideration with his wife, he decided to make a stand for the people of Idaho. During his first session, he made an immediate impact, voting to slash state income taxes and leading the fight to pass the nation's first Medical Freedom Act, which eliminated mask and vax mandates. He also worked to eliminate taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal immigrants and protect female prisoners. He currently serves on the Health and Welfare, Agriculture, and Commerce committees.

Originally from outside of Philadelphia, Rob graduated from Penn State University. He spent 15 years in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he ran the Indiana Right to Work Committee before he and his wife started a clinic to help children with autism—a venture born from a desire to serve others. Drawn by the kind, hardworking, and independent-minded people of Idaho, he moved with his family to Horseshoe Bend in 2020.

Today, Rob works at Money Metals Exchange in Eagle, ID, a precious metals dealer named “Best Overall” in the U.S. by Investopedia, a world investment authority. He is married to his sweetheart, Crystal, and they have two daughters, Samantha and Celeste.

Rob is passionate about serving the people of Idaho and upholding the values that make our state unique. He aims to bring a fresh perspective to government, ensuring the voices of hardworking individuals and families are heard. With a deep belief in empowering communities, Rob is dedicated to limited government, personal freedom, and fiscal responsibility, fighting to preserve Idaho’s cherished traditions and way of life for generations to come.
