Joe Alfieri

Representative | District 4A

Joe Alfieri is currently serving his second term as State Representative for District 4, Seat A, in the Idaho House of Representatives. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Judiciary, Rules & Administration Committee and as a member of the State Affairs and Local Government Committees.

A retired entrepreneur and businessman, Joe opened the first retail computer store in New York City, serving clients like The New York Times. He later served as Type Director for a major advertising agency with accounts including Mercedes-Benz, founded an ad agency focused on the Apple computer market in California, and provided corporate training for companies such as EDS.

Joe and his wife moved to Coeur d’Alene to be closer to her family, whose roots in Idaho date back to territorial days. Before entering politics, he worked as a business developer for a local company, chaired a committee with the Chamber of Commerce, and regularly attended city council and government meetings. After an unsuccessful run for mayor, Joe challenged the incumbent representative in the Republican primary, won, and secured victory in the general election.

During his legislative service, Joe has authored or co-sponsored over three dozen bills—several becoming law—on issues from election integrity and drug crimes to the Traditional Family Values Resolution.
As a two-time political refugee who has seen the impacts of overtaxation and overreach elsewhere, Joe is passionately committed to preserving Idaho’s traditional values, freedoms, and God-given rights. He pledges to do everything in his power to keep Idaho strong, prosperous, and true to its heritage.
