Heather Scott
Representative | District 2A
Heather Scott is currently serving her 6th term as a member of the Idaho State House of Representatives for District 2A, which includes Clearwater, Benewah, and Shoshone counties, as well as parts of Bonner and Kootenai counties. She holds the position of Vice-Chairman of the State Affairs Committee and also serves on the Judiciary and Rules Committee and the Environment, Energy, and Technology Committee. Additionally, she is actively involved in two interim committees, co-chairing the Child Custody and Domestic Relations Task Force and the DOGE Task Force.
Throughout her tenure, Representative Scott has been recognized with numerous awards, including multiple Conservative Excellence Awards from The American Conservative Union Foundation, the Idaho Farm Bureau Federation's Friend of Agriculture Award, and the 2015 Statesman of the Year Award. She has also been honored as Legislator of the Year by the Republican Liberty Caucus of Idaho and received commendations such as the 2015 American Legion Certificate of Appreciation for her work supporting veterans and the 2015 Resolution of Commendation from the Kootenai County Republicans.
Most recently, Heather Scott was named the 2025 Outstanding Republican Legislator of the Year by the Idaho GOP, further solidifying her reputation as a dedicated and accomplished public servant.
