HB0040 - Amends existing law to exempt certain precious metals from capital gains tax, lower the income tax rate, and exempt certain military benefits from income taxation.

S1170 - This bill establishes comprehensive regulations for ore processing by cyanidation (a method of extracting precious metals using cyanide solution) in Idaho. This update to Idaho Code establishes requirements to ensure that cyanidation facilities contain, control, and treat cyanidation process water, spent ore, tailings and other materials to prevent discharges of cyanide pollutants as to not impair the beneficial use of, or degrade, waters of the State.
