What this is supposed to look like has sadly been left in the hands of bureaucrats for way too long! Dumping more and more money into a broken system has got us nowhere, certainly not smarter students or training future American leaders. The woke teachers’ unions have bullied the education system for way too long.

This year I watched a bill where a lobbyist was brought in for just 60 days at $15,000 per month (that’s about $500 a day!) to walk the halls of the Capitol and advocate for a specific outcome. And that doesn’t include the additional costs of meetings, dinners, and relationship-building efforts aimed at persuading legislators.

Because Idaho legislators in the past were not detailed enough with the law, many financial “judicial industries” have been built up around these family issues. Substantive parental rights appear to be ignored by the judges and courts.
